Our term is a Plan of Opportunities but this is also called an IT Governance improvement plan, an IT improvement plan and IT plan along with many other names.
Ultimately this is our suggested actionable approach to improve your businesses technology governance. Moving yoy to use any technology effort (and budget) wisely and supporting your business aspirations.
Our plan is our suggested approach, it isn’t the only approach and you are fit to progress as you see fit. Use this as your defacto plan, as a guide to pick and choose or ignore the plan and decide to continue as you are by accepting any identified risks. You are in complete control at all times – after all it is your business.
All packages have the option to have a virtual meeting to discuss your PoP and answer any questions you might have (chargeable on some packages). If your package includes our Ask a CTO service you can ask any questions you might have through that service channel.
LYour PoP can be regenerated as soon as your scorecard is updated, depending on your package this can be requested monthly, quarterly, annually or ad-hoc on a paid basis. We recommend updating your PoP after a change in your scorecard and/or after significant changes to your business – business implement changes at different speeds.
If your business implements the actions quickly, updates your business baseline to reflect then to view your progress re-generate a scorecard – if the scorecard changes then we suggest a new PoP.
Actions from your plan are able to be allocated to anybody within your extended team, this includes your employees, suppliers or other linked third parties. This allows you to provide visibility to the key people who will help to close any IT Governance gaps without giving them visibility over the whole plan.
You can view any progress and capture progress/results directly on our platform – no more chasing status via email/calls/meetings.
We allow a PDF download of the suggested plan via our platform if you prefer to track outside of the platform or use simply as a reference for the future. It’s your data, your business and your plan – so use it as best you can.
LoremIf you don’t have partners available responsible for the identified action areas, or you would like some support in ensuring the tasks are delivered (either by third parties, your team or using our Just in Time services) then we can help.
We can offer specific help on set actions – either by delivering those on your behalf or through our partner network. We can also offer management of some or all of the PoP (as you see fit) on your behalf, coordinating with your team & suppliers – saving you time and energy.
We generate and provide a PoP based on the information you have provided. If you have a plan or proposal (from any source) to deliver any technology based product/service we offer a range of services to support you in your decision making process.
Depending on your package – our Ask a CTO service can be used to provide you with general guidance, advice and tools to help you make the decision in a structured and risk managed approach. Our Just in Time Project Service can be used on a fixed price basis to offer a Technology specialist specific to the project area to provide a more personalised response.
