Cyber Assurance Certification
The IASME Cyber Assurance standard is a comprehensive, flexible, and affordable cyber security standard. It provides assurance that an organisation has put into place a range of important cyber security, privacy, and data protection measures.
Level 1 – Self Assured – answer the questions yourself and we assess your answers against the standard.
Level 2 – Audited (requires Level 1 to be completed) – we audit your level 1 answers are actually implemented/correct.

What is Cyber Assurance?
Becoming certified allows small and medium-sized enterprises in a supply chain to demonstrate their level of cyber security for a realistic cost and indicates that they are taking good steps to properly protect their customers’ information. Today, the audited IASME Cyber Assurance certification is now accepted by a wide range of industry sectors as an alternative to ISO 27001 for small companies.
The IASME Cyber Assurance certification is available in two levels: Level One Verified Assessment and Level Two Audited.

Self Guided
This is ideal for those who are confident in their controls around cyber security and are able to accurately demonstrate compliance themselves.
YourDigitalCTO provides access to an online portal to enable you to provide your answers, you have 2 chances at completing and passing the certification (after the initial submission feedback is provided on any gaps, you have the opportunity to address the gaps and update your responses).
Professionally Guided
For those who require additional support, includes everything from self guided along with the following:
- Downloadable questions to complete offline
- Non technical guides for each question to aid understanding
- Example responses for each question and pointers for responses
Managed – Assured Pass
For those who require a complete submission service, includes everything from professionally guided along with the following:
- Unlimited iterations of responses to ensure compliance – simply meet the control gaps that we explain in plain English and we assure your pass.
- Guidance on the controls required to complete any gaps – including multiple options where they exist.
Looking to do more?
Level One Verified Assessment is where you provide answers, we verify those meet the standard (self assurance), Level Two Audited is where we actively verify that the controls you indicated are in place providing more assurance to your stakeholders. Level One is required to complete Level 2.
